Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information collected by HealPath Global through our website, consultation intake form, email correspondence, phone consultations, coordination and delivery of our concierge services, and post-return follow-up communications.

This Policy does not apply to the privacy practices of hospitals, surgeons, or other third-party service providers we work with. Those parties have their own privacy policies.

HealPath Global is subject to Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.

We will never use your personal health information for marketing purposes, sell it to third parties, or share it with any party not directly involved in your care coordination.

We do not receive commission or referral fees from any hospital. We share your information with hospitals solely to coordinate your care.

International Transfers of Personal Information

Because HealPath Global coordinates care in India, your personal and medical information will necessarily be transferred to the selected hospital in India. By engaging HealPath Global's services and signing the Patient Service Agreement, you explicitly consent to this transfer.

Indian hospitals we work with are JCI-accredited and subject to Indian law regarding patient privacy and medical records. We require all hospitals in our network to maintain appropriate data security standards.

When your information is transferred outside Canada, it becomes subject to the laws of the receiving country. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate protections are in place, but cannot guarantee the same level of protection as under PIPEDA.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we use commercially reasonable safeguards, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as required by PIPEDA.

Children's Privacy

HealPath Global's services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18 without verifiable parental or guardian consent. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

HealPath Global may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will post the updated Policy on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
